Isabella Garcés Vela

Hey there!

Hey everyone my name is Isa and I’m an actress, singer and dancer from Mexico City, Mexico. I recently graduated magna cum laude with my BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in psychological science from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana (class of 2025) and a couple of months ago I completed a wellness coach certification outside of school. To complement my studies and my passion for working out and feeling connected to my body I am also in the process of completing my Mat Pilates certification with Stott Pilates.

In my time at Ball State I had the amazing opportunity of Performing in Sonnets for an Old Century (Cordelia Gonzales & others), Cabaret (Fraulein Kost), The Prom (Ensemble), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Musician), and was an understudy for The Moors (Marjory/Mallory and Hundey). Throughout my 4 years at school I also loved my time as a participant of different associations such as Artists for Inclusivity, the Student Advisory Committee, and the Latiné Student Union as well as the acapella group Sedoctave where I sang soprano 2 for 3 years.

As a performer, my mission is to spark meaningful conversations and inspire social change through the power of storytelling. I aim to portray diverse characters that challenge norms and promote empathy, fostering a more inclusive and accepting industry. With authenticity and dedication, I strives to keep growing and learning from my own art form and to connect with audiences on a profound level, leaving a lasting impact that resonates with hearts and minds. Now, more than ever, we can use our platforms to share our love and stories.

I am very happy to share that I am now based in Chicago, IL, and are represented by NV talent. I am very excited to start this new chapter in an amazing city!
